The substrate must be clean, solid, and free from dust, grease, mold, or remnants of old coatings. Surfaces with high or very low absorbency should be pretreated with a suitable mineral primer. It is recommended to use “Quartz Primer Grosso” for mineral or clay-based substrates. All irregularities should be leveled using appropriate fillers before applying the plaster.
Pour the contents of the bag into a clean container with water, using approximately 4.5–5.5 L per 12 kg of dry mix. Mix thoroughly with an electric mixer until a uniform consistency is achieved. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes, then mix again. Use the prepared mixture within 8 hours. If necessary, slight adjustment of the consistency with water is allowed.
ARHE can be applied manually using a metal trowel or plastering hawk. Application in two layers is recommended, with a total thickness of up to 3 mm. The first layer should not be overly compacted or smoothed. After partial drying (2–4 hours), apply the second, finishing layer, which can be shaped according to the desired decorative effect.
Once the second layer is dry, the surface can be compacted or textured. For polishing, use a stainless steel Venetian trowel or a plastic float. A matte, grainy, or semi-gloss finish can be achieved depending on the tools used and the timing of the intervention. To enhance water-repellent properties, a special topcoat is recommended, such as natural wax.
