The substrate surface must be clean, dry, and capable of bearing loads. Contaminants and substances that reduce adhesion, such as formwork oils, residues of construction mortars and other materials, as well as peeling painted coatings, must be removed. Minor surface irregularities should be leveled using "ArmaTexture 1000" solutions, ensuring that the thickness of the leveling layer does not exceed 10 mm. Highly absorbent surfaces, as well as surfaces contaminated with dust, must be thoroughly cleaned and treated with the reinforcing primer "UniGrund" or the primer concentrate "GrundKonzentrat." Glossy substrates should be roughened and treated with the primer "PutzGrund 117."
The contents of the "ArmaTexture 1000" package (25 kg) should be carefully poured into a container with 5.5–6.5 liters of clean water at room temperature and mixed with an electric mixer at low speed until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. Allow the mixture to sit for approximately 10 minutes, then mix again. If necessary, the consistency of the mixture can be adjusted with a small amount of water. Depending on atmospheric conditions, the working time of the mixture is approximately 2 hours from the moment it is mixed with water. Hardened mixture that has lost its workability must not be re-diluted with water for further use.
Attention! Always adhere to the exact amount of water specified on the packaging when mixing the solution. For machine application, follow the equipment operation manual.
Decorative Façade Finishing:
The "ArmaTexture 1000" solution is recommended for creating aesthetically advanced and architecturally appealing façades that imitate natural materials such as various types of natural stones, metals, wood, concrete, bricks, and more. To achieve these properties, the application and treatment technology may differ from traditional processes in terms of the number of operations and materials used. Creating such decorative finishes requires high qualifications and experience from craftsmen.
When creating a surface that imitates natural stone, the prepared plaster is applied evenly to the surface. This is followed by the process of forming the chosen texture. After smoothing the plaster and allowing it to dry, the surface is treated with special wax emulsions such as Velatura Vintage Matt, Decor Wax, Special Wax, or other suitable coatings. These significantly enhance both the aesthetic appearance of the external thermal insulation system and improve its durability, hydrophobicity, and resistance to contamination.
To give the surface the appearance of natural stone or brick panels, it is recommended to create joint imitations during the hardening process using a level, a marking punch, and a straightedge.
