1. Measure the required amount of clean water into a container for preparing the decorative mixture.
2. While mixing with a low-speed mechanical stirrer, add “Palitro” pigments according to the tinting recipe.
3. Mix the pigments thoroughly until homogeneous for 2–5 minutes.
4. Add the selected plaster mixture into the prepared pigment solution and mix again for at least 5 minutes.
5. Ensure that the pigment is evenly distributed throughout the entire volume of the material, especially in the “dead zones” at the bottom of the container.
6. For tinting, it is recommended to use a mechanical stirrer to avoid lumps of pigment paste.
7. Check the mixing quality with the “rubbing test”: apply a small amount of the mixture onto a surface and spread with a spatula. If “comets” appear, the material needs additional mixing.
8. For large-scale works, mix tinted products together (2–3 bags) in a large container directly before application to avoid visible joints.
9. Before tinting the entire volume, perform a trial tinting of a small amount of material. Use scales for accurate determination of color and proportions.
