- Pre-prepare the surface for gluing: fill cracks and potholes, primer the porous surfaces.
- Measure a piece of non-woven fabric along the height of the walls with a 5 cm margin for leveling.
- Apply special glue to the prepared surface using a roller or brush.
- Glue the measured piece of interlining on the wall surface vertically (along the slope).
- Glue the next piece of non-woven back-to-back.
- Smooth the interlining with a spatula or a wide brush.
- Cut the non-woven fabric along the edge of the wall with a knife and spatula.
- Paint the non-woven fabric no earlier than 24 hours after gluing.
IMPORTANT: when gluing non-woven fabric, pay attention to the fact that the front side is directed inside the roll.
Painting interlining is glued on smooth gypsum plaster or on a layer of starting putty by means of glue for wall-paper D 020 Elf ™. In the case of using interlining with a density of 65 g / m2, after gluing it is necessary to perform alignment with a finishing putty D 60 Elf ™ or D 70 Elf ™, applied in a thin layer (a very thin layer). After applying the putty, it is recommended to cover the painting interlining with a layer of UniGrund Elf ™ or GrundKonzentrat Elf ™. In the case of using interlining with a density of 120-150 g / m2, after its gluing alignment with the finishing putty is not required. Upon completion of the above work, you can start decorating - painting, applying decorative plasters and coatings, and so on.
