Application technologies

The surface must be clean, dry, flat, able to bear the load and meet the conditions of preparation in accordance with the above-mentioned requirements. Dirt and substances that adversely affect adhesion must be removed.

  • It is recommended to level unevenness on concrete and mineral bases with putties "FinishSpachtel D60" or "FinishSpachtel D70" from TM Elf®.
  • Plasterboard, chipboard and fiber boards. Seams, edges and joints of plates must be glued with a special tape. Chips, cavities and holes from screws must be puttyed, sanded and then primed.
  • Old paper wallpaper, if it peels off, must be removed, then puttyed, sanded and primed.
  • Vinyl wallpaper on a paper base. Remove the outer layer, then follow the procedures given for paper wallpaper.
  • Previously painted surfaces should be first smoked and washed with a detergent, after which they should be rinsed with clean water.
  • Highly absorbent surfaces must be primed with materials such as the fixing primer "UniGrund" or the primer concentrate "GrundKonzentrat". Highly alkaline surfaces are recommended to be primed with "VinylGrund D14". "BiozidGrund" should be used to prevent contamination or in case of existing contamination of the base with mold, mildew, algae or fungi.

Execution of robots

Before starting use, it is recommended to mix the "ProKleber 020" glue with a low-speed drill with a nozzle.

When gluing glass canvases and painting non-woven fabric, you must first apply the glue to the wall in an even layer with the help of a roller or paint brush. Glue should be applied to the surface to be glued with an area of no more than 1-2 strips of material in an amount sufficient to impregnate the fiberglass. Gluing is carried out as long as the glue retains its stickiness to the touch. Glass sheets are glued tangentially to each other or overlapping, followed by cutting with a plasterboard knife. Next, the wallpaper must be carefully pressed to smooth with a plastic or metal spatula. The final fixation of the glass wallpaper is recommended to be carried out as late as possible if it is planned to trim them.

When gluing paper, vinyl or textile wallpaper, glue should be applied in an even layer on the reverse side of the wallpaper using a roller or paint brush. Turn the wallpaper with the glued side inward and leave it for 5 minutes. After that, unfold and glue them in the usual way, touching each other, carefully smoothing them with a plastic or metal spatula.
Residues of glue on the outside of the wallpaper must be carefully removed with a clean damp sponge before it begins to dry. Prevent the glue from drying or smearing on the outside of the wallpaper.
