The surface to be treated must be dry, free from dust, dirt, grease, tar and other contaminants. Prime highly absorbent surfaces with D 11 primer or D 020 glue diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio. Sand the glossy surface to a matte finish. Grind and dry the surface and remove dust.
Previously painted / wallpapered surfaces: remove coating, flaking wallpaper residues, etc. Wash glossy surfaces with diluted alkaline detergent, then with water and dry. Further preparation is carried out in the same way as for new surfaces.
Performance of work:
Glass-fiber / non-woven wallpaper / glass-fiber materials: mix the glue thoroughly before use, apply on the wall surface with an even layer across the width of 1-2 panels at a time, leaving a slightly thicker layer at the joints. Do not apply directly to wallpaper (glass-fiber). The amount of glue should be enough to impregnate the wallpaper, do not allow excesses - they seep onto the front surface. After applying the glue, immediately press the wallpaper panel firmly to the surface with the back side and smooth it with a plastic spatula.
Paper / vinyl / textile / other paper-based wallpapers: before use, dilute the adhesive with water by 30% and mix thoroughly, apply the adhesive with a roller on the back of the wallpaper and leave it to get wet for 5-10 minutes.
Follow the instructions from the wallcovering manufacturer.
