Surface preparation:

MARMORINO STYLE  is applied to a perfectly prepared surface. The surface must be sound, dry, free from efflorescence, dust, dirt, oil and grease. Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned of old flaking material and sanded Places affected by mold or moss must be thoroughly cleaned mechanically and treated with primer BIOZIDGRUND (TM "ELF") or other special means.

Execution of works:

Apply QUARTZ PRIMER or DECOR PRIMER to the prepared surface (fig. 1).  Add color before application or use computer tinting and mix thoroughly. Depending on the base, up to 10% water can be added. Apply the first covering layer with a stainless steel trowel or small float, setting the original pattern of the future coating (fig. 2). 

To obtain a more expressive pattern, small influx of paint are allowed. After complete drying (4-6 hours), the surface must be treated with sandpaper and a second layer is applied, alternating strokes in different directions. You can also apply the facing technique on the second layer using a stainless steel trowel or float (fig. 3). After 15-20 minutes, polish the surface with multidirectional movements.

For a deeper finish, it is recommended to wax the surface with DECOR WAX. This wax will additionally show the structure. It is applied with a metal spatula in a thin layer using multidirectional movements (fig. 4).
