The surface must be clean, dry, able to bear the load and meet the conditions of preparation in accordance with the requirements. Dirt and substances that reduce the adhesion of the paint to the base: oil and grease stains, lubricating materials, bituminous mastics, previous unstable paint coatings, etc., as well as weakly strong areas must be removed. In order to equalize the absorption of paint by the base, in order to obtain a high-quality surface, it is recommended to pre-treat the base with TM Elf dispersion primer "UniGrund" or TM Elf "GrundKonzentrat".
Preparation of material
"ReliefFarbe" is a ready-to-use dispersion paint. Mix the contents of the package thoroughly with a low-speed mixer. If necessary, to adjust the consistency, the paint can be diluted with water, but not more than 5% of the mass. Adding water should be done in each bucket, in the same amount, to avoid color discrepancies.
Execution of works
The paint "ReliefFarbe" must be applied in one layer and evenly distributed over the surface using a roller with a pile of 18 mm or more, or a smooth spatula. Immediately after applying the paint, it is necessary to add the desired structure to the surface using a foam or structural roller, trowel.
Application method
The choice of the tool determines the structure of the surface and the speed of work. For application, use a roller, brush, trowel or paint sprayer with a nozzle diameter of 3-4 mm and a pressure of 4-5 bar.
When mechanized application should be guided by the instructions for the use of the equipment. The work must be performed in compliance with safety rules, in special work clothes and with the use of personal protective equipment.
