The surface must be clean, dry, able to bear the load and meet the conditions for preparing the base. Dirt and substances that reduce the adhesion of the paint to the base: oil and grease stains, lubricating materials, bituminous mastics, previous unstable paint coatings, etc., as well as weakly strong areas must be removed. In order to equalize the absorption of paint by the base, in order to obtain a high-quality surface, it is recommended to pre-treat the base with TM Elf dispersion primer "UniGrund" or TM Elf "GrundKonzentrat".

Preparation of material

"StrukturFarbe Silikon" is a ready-to-use dispersion paint. Mix the contents of the package thoroughly with a low-speed mixer. If necessary, to adjust the consistency, the paint can be diluted with water, but not more than 5% of the weight. Water must be added to each bucket in the same amount to avoid color differences.

Execution of works

"StrukturFarbe Silikon" paint must be applied in one layer and evenly distributed over the surface using a roller with a pile of 18 mm or more or a smooth spatula. Immediately after applying the paint, it is necessary to add the desired structure to the surface using a foam or structural roller, trowel.
