The surface must be clean, dry, level, capable of bearing the load and suitable for preparation in accordance with the specified requirements.
Dirt and substances that negatively affect adhesion must be removed, and unevenness or chips must be leveled with suitable materials, for example Klebe-und ArmierungsMasse AM 195 or KlebeMasse KM 193. The primed base looks like a white, rough surface. Before starting work, it is necessary to take measures to protect the adjacent surfaces, glass, ceramics, varnished surfaces, clinker bricks, natural stone, metal, wood covered with blue or enamel.
Before use, the Acryl-PutzGrund 117 primer paint must be thoroughly mixed with a low-speed drill with a special nozzle. If necessary, to regulate the consistency, the primer paint can be diluted with water, but not more than 5% of water from the total mass of the material.
Acryl-PutzGrund 117 must be applied with a paint roller, brush or paintbrush. After completing work or during long breaks, the tools must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed with water. During work, the surface must be protected from precipitation, fog, strong wind or direct sunlight until the material is completely dry. Primer splashes and smudges on surfaces must be removed immediately or washed off with water. Acryl-PutzGrund 117 primer is not suitable for horizontal surfaces that are exposed to constant exposure to water.
During application and drying, the temperature of the ambient air and the substrate must not fall below +5°C and rise above +30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight, strong wind, fog, high humidity or when expecting frost in the next 24 hours.
