The surface must be strong, clean, dry, and suitable for treatment. Dust, efflorescence, remnants of lime whitewash, adhesive and oil-based coatings, weak coatings, and other contaminants should be thoroughly removed. Strong alkyd coatings should be sanded and dusted. Treat surfaces with the deep-penetrating primer BiozidGrund from Elf™. Fresh cement plasters should be cured for at least 28 days, concrete for 3 months, and surfaces of thermal insulation systems for at least 7 days.
Before use, stir the paint thoroughly. Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer, including airless spray. Apply the paint in 2 layers. Painting surfaces on one plane should be done continuously from corner to corner.
First layer: the paint may be diluted with up to 5% water or applied undiluted.
Second layer: do not dilute the paint.
Drying time before applying the next layer is 1-2 hours, complete drying is 8-10 hours at a substrate temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 60%. Under other conditions, the drying and curing times may vary.
Perform work at a substrate temperature of +5°C to +30°C and relative air humidity below 80%. Do not apply the paint to surfaces exposed to direct sunlight, strong wind, or precipitation. Protect painted surfaces from precipitation until the paint is fully dry for at least one day.
