Surface must be clean, dry, even, capable of bearing loads, and prepared according to the above-mentioned requirements. Contaminants and substances negatively affecting adhesion must be removed. Highly absorbent surfaces should be primed with materials such as anchoring primer UniGrund or primer concentrate GrundKonzentrat. High-alkaline surfaces are recommended to be primed with VinylGrund D14. To prevent or address existing contamination of the substrate with mold, mildew, algae, or fungi, "BiozidGrund" should be used.
Material preparation
"FassadenSpachtel D200 Plus" is a ready-to-use dispersion filler. Thoroughly mix the contents of the package with a low-speed mixer. If necessary, to adjust the consistency, the filler can be diluted with water, but not more than 2% of the mass. When applying with mechanized equipment, follow the equipment's operating instructions.
Attention: always consider the exact amount of water for consistency adjustment as indicated on the packaging.
Application
Apply an even layer using a stainless steel spatula or a machine for spraying fine-grain filler, evenly distributing it over the surface to the required thickness. In cases where it is used as a repair compound, and irregularities or chips have a depth of more than 6 mm, it is recommended to apply the material in several layers, allowing the previous layer to dry completely.
Subsequent treatment
After the complete drying of the final layer of filler, it is recommended to treat it with abrasive materials #P150..#P180. To prevent air and environmental pollution, sanding should be performed using mechanized sanding devices (disk or angle grinders) with local extraction. Afterward, treat with anchoring primer UniGrund or primer concentrate GrundKonzentrat. After the primer is completely dry, the surface is ready for final painting using Elf TM Facade paint.
