The surface must be clean, dry, level, load-bearing and suitable for preparation conditions. Dirt and adhesion-impairing substances must be removed. Highly absorbent surfaces should be primed with materials such as UniGrund fixing primer or GrundKonzentrat primer concentrate. On gypsum or clay surfaces, GipsGrund should be used. Highly alkaline surfaces are recommended to be primed with VinylGrund D14. To prevent infestation or in case of existing contamination of the substrate with mould, mould, algae or fungus, "BiozidGrund" should be applied.
Preparation of material and execution of work
FinishSpachtel D60 is a ready-to-use dispersion putty. Mix the contents of the package thoroughly with a mixer at low speed. If necessary, to adjust the mixture, putty can be diluted with water, but not more than 2% by weight. When mechanized application should be guided by the instruction manual for the equipment.
Important! Always take into account the exact amount of water for adjusting the consistency indicated on the package.
Apply evenly with a stainless steel trowel or fine putty sprayer, spread evenly over the surface in a layer of the desired thickness. In cases of use as a repair compound, when the irregularities or chips have a depth of more than 3 mm, it is recommended to apply the material in several layers, allowing the previous layer to dry completely.
After complete drying of the last layer of putty, it is recommended to treat it with abrasive material №№ Р180..Р240. To prevent air and environmental pollution, grinding is recommended with mechanized grinding devices (disc or angle grinders) with local aspiration. Then treat with UniGrund fixing primer or GrundKonzentrat primer concentrate. After the soil is completely dry, the surface is to be painted with Mattlatex or Ultra Elf interior paints.
Drying time per layer: 3 hours. During application and during drying, the temperature of the ambient air and the substrate must not fall below +5°C and rise above +30°C.
