The surface must be clean, dry, level, load-bearing and suitable for the conditions of preparation. Contaminants and substances that adversely affect adhesion must be removed. Highly absorbent surfaces must be primed with materials such as UniGrund fixing primer or GrundKonzentrat primer concentrate. GipsGrund should be used on gypsum or clay surfaces. It is recommended to prime high alkaline surfaces with VinylGrund D14. BiozidGrund should be used to prevent contamination or existing contamination of the substrate with mold, mildew, algae or fungi.
Preparation and execution of works
FinishSpachtel D70 is a ready-to-use dispersion putty for mechanized application. If necessary, to adjust the consistency, the putty can be diluted with water, but not more than 2% by weight. At the mechanized drawing it is necessary to be guided by the instruction on operation of the equipment.
Importantly! Always consider the exact amount of water to adjust the consistency indicated on the package.
For application it is necessary to use reciprocating airless devices with a capacity of at least 4 l / min, such as Graco Mark V, or analogues. It is recommended to apply from left to right and from top to bottom, starting from the upper left corner, with a thickness of not more than 1 mm. Apply each subsequent grip with an overlap of the previous 5-10 cm. After application, level the layer of putty, using a special rule, and if necessary, remove the excess. It is recommended to apply the material in several layers, allowing the previous layer to dry completely. If necessary, "FinishSpachtel D70" can be applied manually with a metal spatula.
During application, and during drying, the temperature of the ambient air and the substrate must not fall below +5°C, and rise above +30°C.
